I nGailearaí Fada Chnoc an Anfa a lainseáladh an tuairisc tábhachtach seo, inár léiríodh an easpa dul chun cinn atá bainte amach i leith earnáil na Gaelscolaíochta ó foilsíodh an bhonn-athbhreithniú 17 bliain ó shin, chomh maith le réimsí maolaithe le dul i ngleic leis na moltaí fós le réiteach.
Ba iad Nick Mathison, Cathy Mason agus Cara Hunter, feisirí de chuid an Tionóil, a thug urraíocht don ócáid agus labhair cleachtóirí ó earnáil na Gaelscolaíochta agus oifigigh Chomhairle na Gaelscolaíochta ar na dúshláin is mó atá roimh earnáil faoi láthair, ina measc: cúrsaí cóiríochta; soláthar RSO; easpa aiseanna teagaisc agus soláthar múinteoirí.

On Tuesday, 4th February, Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta issued a 'Review of the Review; An audit of the progress of the Review of Irish-medium Education, 2008.’
This important report was launched in Stormont’s Long Gallery, and highlighted the lack of progress achieved on behalf of the Irish-medium education sector since the publication of the review 17 years ago, as well as a range of mitigations to address the recommendations yet to be resolved.
Nick Mathison, Cathy Mason and Cara Hunter, members of the Assembly, sponsored the event and practitioners from the Irish-medium sector and Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta officials spoke of the biggest challenges facing the sector at present, including: accommodation; insufficient SEN provision; lack of teaching resources and teacher supply.
The wonderful musicians from Bunscoil Phobal Feirste provided entertainment during the event.
